Illuminated countertops and underlighting can be used for a variety of reasons, generally as a soft, subtle light within the room. This is a great feature for a master bathroom or a guest bathroom. You won’t be walking into your bathroom in the middle of the night turning the light on and blinding yourself as you walk in. Having an option of a very subtle under cabinet light is one way to create a very subtle nightlight feature in any room.

Additionally, you can use these lighted panels on walls, countertops, backsplashes, vanities, showers, fireplaces, and more. We offer these lighted panels in white. We also offer color-changing LED panels. The underlit countertop here in this video is a translucent stone that allows the light to pull through the stone. You can see it from the distance.

Also, pictured above are illuminated countertops in a Vue Sarasota condo kitchen. It is a real stone countertop translucent enough to allow light to penetrate from underneath. We doubled up the edge and created a hollowness underneath the countertop. In this case, we could utilize LED lighting throughout the countertop to allow the light to come through, looking like a “block of ice.”
