Starting with a Blank Wall

It’s 12 feet of empty space with nothing but a blank wall. This build-out is starting with a clean slate, so to speak. These Lakewood National Golf & Country Club homeowners have a blank canvas to transform into anything they want. Working with our designers, the final decision came down to a new office design. Blue bookcase shelves and double desks will fill in this empty space. Here’s a deeper look at what to expect once this project is completed.

The Base Cabinets

The desk will serve as a his and her working desk area. Bookending the desk are desk drawers with brushed golden brass hardware. These cabinets are crafted by Medallion Cabinetry and will have a Sandpiper finish, which is a sort of dark, sandy color, almost like the color of wet sand you find at the beach. Below is a rendering of what this office will look like.

Moving in from the left desk drawer will be two desk base cabinets. The second base cabinet, which is also the middle cabinet, will house the printer. Moving on will be a file drawer base cabinet. Two of the cabinets will have a gray smoke glass in the doors.

The Upper Cabinets

Overhead will be four columns of wall bookcase shelves illuminated by recessed light fixtures and a chandelier that the homeowner picked themselves. The bookcases will be a navy blue-like color called Marine Classic, which will also be the color of the surrounding walls. The homeowners will be able to use these shelves to store books, picture frames, knickknacks, or office supplies.

Quartz Countertops

The final touch in this new office design is the countertop. From the Radianz Quartz collection, this quartz is a natural and durable touch for your décor. The color here is Diamond White. Quartz countertops like these are very trendy and easy to care for.

With these materials and selections together, this office is sure to be a comfortable working environment for the homeowners.
