Never Too Dark

Illuminated countertops can be used for a variety of reasons, generally as a soft, subtle light within the room. This is a great feature for a master bathroom or a guest bathroom. You won’t be walking into your bathroom in the middle of the night turning the light on and blinding yourself as you walk in. Having an option of a very subtle glow is one way to create a very subtle nightlight feature in any room.

Additionally, you can use these lighted panels on walls, countertops, backsplashes, vanities, showers, fireplaces, and more. We offer these lighted panels in white. We also offer color-changing LED panels.

Modern kitchen

The above photo is an example of an illuminated countertop we designed and installed in a condo in the Vue Sarasota. This is a backlit crystal island in the kitchen space. It is a real stone countertop, translucent enough to allow light to penetrate it from beneath. Not only is the top illuminated, but the backside is as well. We wanted to make sure the illuminated stone could be seen from anywhere in this space. We doubled up the edge and created a hollowness underneath the countertop. In this case, we could utilize LED lighting throughout the countertop to allow the light to come through, making it look like a “block of ice.”

Custom LED Panels

LED Panels can be used to back light a variety of natural and manmade materials like stone, stained glass, resins, artwork, and epoxy. Custom LED Panels are the perfect solution to backlighting all these materials because of the ultra-thin form factor and even illumination properties.

Illuminated countertop and mirrors in bathroom

A lot of people come to us disappointed with other backlighting solutions for their illuminated countertops like LED strips that may be a cheaper choice, but they tend to create hotspots and uneven lighting on the illuminated surface. LED panels are a great solution to achieving even illumination on a translucent surface.
