At Cabinets Extraordinaire, we hold ourselves to the highest standards in the industry. We believe the remodeling experience of design-build should be exciting and fun. We love remodeling here. It is the passion that drives us and sets us apart from other companies here in the Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Siesta Key, and Longboat Key.

It is the concierge service that we offer from the conception to the completion of a project that we feel is a top priority to enhance the remodeling experience. Here is what you can expect as one of our clients:

The Consultation (A.K.A Free Design Session)

At the consultation, we will discuss multiple points of the project.

• Expectations

These are key questions that a designer will need to determine how to best approach the project. We find that some clients need direction when it comes to some of these questions. This is when we can help educate you and start the path to the design phase.

Design & Product Selection Process

This is where the fun begins in the remodeling experience. We are using the newest and best methods to provide a real design experience. Chief Architect Design and 2020 software will be used to produce high quality 3D renderings of the project. Elevation, floor plans, and permit drawings will show all the details of your project from electrical layouts to appliance placement. We find that the details on the front end help all parties to truly understand what will take place and where things will be.

Product selections will be done during this process by visiting our beautiful showroom, as well as utilizing local vendors to find the perfect tiles, stone, fixtures, and appliances. While this may seem overwhelming, our design staff will be there to educate you on products as well as help you make selections that will be perfect for your space.

Explanation of Scope and Contract

A detailed scope of work will be typed up as to what we are doing during the construction phase of our remodeling experience. This will include detailed drawings, product placement, plumbing, and electrical maps, as well as a very clear picture of what we’ll be doing. Line by line, these specs and instructions will be spelled out as to eliminate questions about what is and is not being done during your remodel.

The contract will be an extension of the detailed scope of work. Your final cost and payment breakdown will be noted and signed off on. Warranty and waivers will be also signed, as well as the projects selection sheets.

Construction Experience

We are heavy on the details up to this point so that all vendors and installers are clear on what will be done during construction. All the information we have gathered from day one will be reviewed and put into production. Permitted projects will be started and scheduled after the permit has been issued.

We will have all your selections and products onsite here at our warehouses prior to the start of construction. A meeting will be scheduled for our team of installers, project managers, and designers prior to the start of construction to gather any last details and to set an expectation on what the client can expect. You may be asked to empty cabinets and remove pictures or wall paintings that could be damaged during construction.

All About High Quality

Once all is here and ready, we will place protection on floors and furniture as needed. The remodeling experience process of demolition and construction can be messy. We will do everything we can as to not disrupt your daily activities. There may be gaps in your installation for things such as for permit inspections and glass and stone templating. We understand this can be unpleasant, and we will do all we can to limit the disruption and keep the project on schedule.

You will be assigned a Project Manager who will answer questions and update you on day-to-day activities. We want you to trust the process and Cabex Construction to complete the project in a timely manner and with a high-quality finished project. Upon completion, your new space will be cleaned and “move-in ready.”
