Bathroom Spotlights

There are so many choices when it comes to designing bathrooms. From backsplashes and shower tiles to cabinetry and countertops, there are so many different combinations that come together to create beautiful spaces. In honor of National Kitchen and Bath Month, here is a look at some of our favorite bathroom spaces!

Siesta Drive

Combining elements of midcentury design through the use of mid mod-style finishes with modern materials and placement, the clients wanted this space to be clean and contemporary. We mixed in those classic, timeless elements in a modern way.

The modern elements consist of a marble-look porcelain, which showcases high style with low maintenance, and we combined that with walnut cabinets. Merging these finishes with multi-functional design elements like the linen cabinet, which not only serves as storage but also as a room divider and full-length mirror, adds to the style for this warm, modern aesthetic that the client loves.

> Zen Meets Coastal: Two Bathrooms, Two Designs

Riverwalk Oaks

We were able to convert a traditional everyday master bathroom with an oversized, unused built-in bathtub and small shower space to create a true spa-like experience with a beautiful and much more functional, two-person shower, spicing it up with a 3D-textured back wall tile and proper lighting for maximum effect.

White bathroom

Other changes included removing the three wall-angled vanities with full height mirrors to square off the room, enabling the use of a longer, dual sink floating vanity with under-cabinet lighting and illuminated mirrored medicine cabinets with interior outlets to hold the typical countertop clutter, resulting in an inviting and uncluttered look.

The Inlets

Coastal and contemporary are the best words to describe this master. We picked this blue color for the cabinets after the homeowners came to us with this color for the ceiling. We gave the beautiful blue to Cabico Custom Cabinetry, and they color-matched the cabinets.

Misty Creek Country Club

In one corner was a Roman marble shower and in the other was a separate tub. We removed the tub completely since the homeowners never really used it as it was too much of a slip hazard for them. In place of this tub, the homeowners wanted more of a seating area and a larger space for the vanity that has a Pompeii Quartz Serenata marble-look tile and polished nickel hardware. The removal of the tub gave them a much more functional usage of the space.

Bathroom with gray wallpaper and cabinets

The shower stayed in the same footprint but looks entirely different. The creamy shower wall tile is a luxurious contemporary design that replicates the minimalistic simplicity of stone called Atlas Marvel Bianco Dolomite, and the shower floor tile here is a marble-look Stratus Oro Diamond mosaic etched with gold and gray veining. The shower niche is Alpine White Rhomboid Imperial tile.

Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club

In this master, we removed the solid wood cabinets, tub, glass block shower wall, and massive mirrors in favor of a contemporary design. The change resulted in Cabico cabinets with Greenwich textured faux wood, squaring off the arched ceilings above the vanities, the same luxurious white marble-look quartz as in the laundry room, and a completely revamped shower.

Blue bathroom

The skinny, dark shower became a new steam shower with his and her showerheads, a new dropped ceiling, a custom shower bench, and three-level niche. The walls and floor are an oversized subway tile colored ecru, which is a sort of grayish yellow like old ivory, and the ceiling and shower bench are beige wood-like porcelain tiles.
